Department of Biology

The Department of Biology at Farah Institute of Higher Education initially launched in 1391 Solar Hijri (2012 CE) under the combined title of Chemistry-Biology within the Faculty of Education. In 1394 Solar Hijri (2015 CE), it transitioned to operate specifically as the Department of Biology.

Initially, the department had two faculty members, but this has now grown to a total of five. Among the current faculty, two hold master's degrees, while three have bachelor's degrees. Additionally, two of the bachelor's degree holders are currently pursuing master's studies, one each in Turkey and Iran.

Vision:

In the next five years, Biology Department will be enhanced to a prestigious, scientific and academic at the national level through teaching, research and other academic programs.

Mission:

The department of biology is an innovative, talented and advanced branch of education faculty and its purpose is to train professional and academic staff of the biology department to be innovative, responsible and have a good practices and experiences in our society.

Goals Objectives

Improving the training capacity of personal and specialist in the field of Biology.
Enhancing the educational quality of students by using technology and modern teaching materials in teaching.
Enhancing the educational level of the academic staff members of the department by introducing them to scholarships.
Setting up modern and advanced technologies in biology department
Creation strengthening and specialization of natural sciences especially biology.
