An Educational Seminar Titled “The Virtues of Reciting the Holy Qur’an in the Blessed Month of Ramadan” Held at Farah University
The Da’wah and Guidance Directorate of Farah University organized an educational seminar at the university mosque under the title “The Virtues of Reciting the Holy Qur’an in the Blessed Month of Ramadan” for all university Staff.
The seminar started with the recitation of several blessed verses from the Holy Qur’an.
Then, Teaching Assistant Mufti Noorulhaq Mazhari from the Faculty of Theology (Sharia) delivered a comprehensive speech on the importance and value of reciting the Holy Qur’an during the blessed month of Ramadan. He stated that Ramadan is the month in which the Holy Qur’an was revealed, and reciting it during this sacred month carries multiplied rewards and blessings.
Referring to Qur’anic verses and Prophetic traditions, he elaborated on developing a close relationship with the Qur’an, reflecting upon its meanings, purifying the soul, strengthening faith, and the role of the Qur’an in the moral and spiritual reform of individuals and society.
It was also emphasized that professors and staff members should make the best use of this spiritual opportunity by giving serious attention to reciting, understanding, and practicing the teachings of the Holy Qur’an.
The seminar concluded with Du'a.
