A training seminar titled “First Aid” was presented to academic and administrative staff of Farah University. The seminar was organized by the Central Health Committee in cooperation with the Directorate of Professional Development of Professors, with the aim of enhancing awareness and capacity in the field of first aid.

The seminar commenced with the recitation of several verses from the Holy Qur’an.

Afterward, Teaching Assistant Besmillah Amini from the Faculty of Sharia, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the concept and importance of first aid. He explained in detail the assessment of the level of consciousness (GCS), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), control of bleeding and the use of a tourniquet, management of burns and fractures, prevention of the deterioration of a patient’s condition, recognition of the signs of shock, and the initial measures to be taken in response.
