Department of Pashto

Introduction

         The Pashto department started its activity in 2013 within the framework of the Faculty of Education and Training of Farah Institute of Higher ­Education. Currently Pashto department have )6) staff members has and in seven terms (250) students have graduated and been employed in the government and private sectors. And they have played a very important role in the development of society.  

       trains students in Pashto language and literature, and the ­sound of the language Phonemics, Grammar, Syntax, Arts, texts, Pashto language and literature and history It provides the most important and modern education ­to its students ­and provides research, translation, folklore, Poems and rhymes in part provide good and organized information.

      Students ­of Pashto department are familiar with research and researcher the teaches the types, techniques and methods to their students ­and knows the principles of translation and presents them to the society as professional teachers, translators and researchers, which is very successful and successful.

     The Pashto department has tried to teach Pashto language with poetry of the department increase awareness and to prevent the destruction of Pashto folklore, the students were given tasks to ­collect the folklore of different regions of Afghanistan and prevent its destruction.

  • Educating students on ancient, classical, contemporary texts verse-prose and literature of the Pashto language
  • . To train professional teachers in all aspects to teach Pashto language
  • . Students' familiarity with teaching methods and their practical applications

Create to achieve your goals; So that all facilities are available for academic, teaching and administrative personnel to carry out their day-to-day affairs and for the education of students To be a center of education and research, which has academic facilities such as information technology , library and other research facilities, which constitute the primary and basic mission of this department.

Duties and Authority of the Departments

Each department is endowed with the following duties and authorities:

  1. Management of Educational Activities: Overseeing educational programs, internships, projects, thesis work (monographs, diploma projects, seminars, and dissertations), as well as student conferences.
  2. Promotion of Academic and Research Activities: Facilitating, organizing, and delivering academic services.
  3. Development and Oversight of Educational Plans and Programs: Designing and monitoring curricula to ensure quality education.
  4. Enhancement of Knowledge and Academic Standards: Creating opportunities for improving knowledge and academic qualifications.
  5. Recommendation of Candidates for Scholarships: Identifying and recommending deserving candidates for scholarships, educational programs, and departmental academic and research gatherings.
  6. Evaluation of Assigned Works: Assessing the works assigned to faculty members and other relevant stakeholders.
  7. Assessment of Academic and Research Needs: Identifying academic and research requirements in relevant fields and developing short-term and long-term programs.
  8. Academic Staffing and Promotions: Proposing staffing positions, academic promotions, confirmation of academic ranks, and recommendations for appointments and dismissals.
